Pure and Immaculate

Bride: Hannah Howe
Church: St. Luke Lutheran Church of Schaefferstown
Reception: Cornwall Inn

Pure and immaculate. It's what many brides desire on their big day and Hannah was no different. She visited our Camp Hill location and told us that her theme was vintage and suddenly I was swept back to the time of Queen Victoria. I thought of the china that would have been used at her reception. The cream colored tea cups that adorn pale pink and yellow flowers. Lush fabrics, laces and heirloom style clothing of her guests. The oil lamps that would light the dance hall. Ultimately I chose an array of flowers that would set the
soft and romantic mood. Here is a list of what we prepared:
  • Pale peach spray roses
  • Pink waxflower
  • Pink vintage carnation
  • Blueporum
  • Queen Anne's lace
  • Pale pink rose
You can find these flowers used in gardens over the centuries, so it was sure to fit Hannah's requirements. Also, we used viburnum consistently throughout to tie everything together. And here's a fun fact, if you're a fan of the Twilight series the set director used blueporum in their big wedding scene, too. Hannah didn't know she would be having a Hollywood wedding!

Enjoy the pictures from her romantic event!
