Kate and Nick were married on October 1st, 2011 at the Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg. Although the sky was overcast, the atmosphere was bright and sunny. The bride carried hand wrapped ivory roses; the bridesmaids carried an explosion of fall color and texture that included roses, hypericum berries, coxcomb and hydrangea. A quick limo ride transported the wedding party to their reception at The Hershey Lodge . The rooms absolutely glowed with candle light and centerpieces that echoed the colors and textures of the wedding party bouquets. Photography was by Jeremy Bischoff.

Jessica and Michael were married on June 25, 2011 at Regents Glen in York, PA. Thank you to The Camera Box in Camp Hill, PA for providing the lovely pictures. Jessica carried lavender roses, purple freesia, ivory roses and lily grass loops. Her bridesmaids carried ivory and lavender roses. We trimmed the birdcage for the gift table and provided a vase arrangement for the place card table. The guest tables were cylinder vases with white dendrobium orchids, stones and purple LED lights.

Today Michelle and Denyse were in Lancaster for the Linen Show sponsored by Special Occasions. Wonderful new linen designs! We also visited with Marcia at Lancaster Convention Center and met Michael the Marriott's newest member of the sales team. Michael coordinates the Marriott's weddings. We stopped at Lime Spring Farms. We met Marcey and she gave us a tour of a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. Our final stop was the Cork Factory Hotel. The Cork Factory Hotel is a beautiful historic building with a unique venue for weddings and special events! In spite of the rain we had a wonderful day out and about!

This wedding was at the Susquehanna Club in New Cumberland. Hot pink and lime decorated the entire room.

The guest tables were cylinder vases with clear gems, LED lights and a submerged rose. Very cool when the lights were down!

This reception was at the Harrisburg Hilton. http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/MDTHHHF-Hilton-Harrisburg-Pennsylvania/index.do A combination of high and low silver vases and candelabras filled the room. The flowers were shades of purple, yellow, pink, green and blue. Each low table was a different color and the highs combined all of the colors together.

We use metal candles with self feeding candles inside so that it looks like the candle never burns down. Safe too, no wax!

May 22nd was the date for this wedding held at the historic Silver Spring Presbyterian Church in Mechanicsburg and the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey for the reception. A unique twist with this classic calla lily boutonniere. Two twisted rose petals give this a contemporary look.

The Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey set the tone for a wonderful reception. The centerpieces were a single blue hydrangea in a square vase.

The cake from overhead shows the beautiful yellow, blue and a touch of pale pink.

We have had a wonderful spring wedding season so far. The following bouquets were done in April. The beautiful yellow was perfect for the wonderful warm weather we had this spring.

The wedding was held at the First Alliance Church in Harrisburg and the reception was at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey. Bridal bouquet of all calla lilies. Medium purple and dark purple callas are tied up to create a simple and elegant bridal bouquet.

Here is the whole wedding party. The bridesmaids carried lime green dendrobium orchids, lime green hydrangea, lime green hypernicum berries and deep purple callas for the Maids of Honor and the bridesmaids had pale pink roses with hot pink edges. The groom wore a deep purple calla and the groomsmen wore a lime green rose.

Here are the bridesmaids bouquets all lined up on the bridal table at the reception.

The place card table had a showpiece of lime green dendrobium orchids immersed in water. Two different styles for the guest tables. Half of the tables were lime green dendrobium orchids with bear grass loops and river rocks.

The other half of the tables had a lime green rose with bear grass and river rocks.

Mother's Day Weekend Wedding

This past weekend kicked off the wedding season with Mother's Day and a beautiful but very windy day! Rayni and Matt were married at Saint Patrick's Cathedral Harrisburg and the reception was at the Hilton Harrisburg. Thank you to Klose Photography for making our bouquets look so beautiful!

I am finally getting around to showing off some of our pictures from this fall wedding season. Here are some of the pictures I took while setting up. I will be getting some others from some of our favorite photographers soon. Stay tuned... This was at the Milestone Inn outside at the gazebo. We used mason jars on hooks at the end of the aisle. The flowers were just beautful gerbera daisies, fugi mums and daliahs. Filled mason jars with river rock on the bottom. A nice touch since we were right next to the river itself! White hydrangea, white fugi mums and yellow and burgandy gerbera dasies.

Vissagio's in Enola was the setting for this wedding and reception. We tulled the staircase with purple and orange and placed mums at the base of the stairs.

We trimmed the arch with bright orange, white and purple flowers on the top and two sides. This wedding was held at the Stone Mill Inn in Hallam. This is the bridal table with tulle and lights.

These centerpieces were cylinder vases with red and black stones and a floating candle. Each vase was a different height to show dimention. Petals were then scattered on the table.

Petals lined the aisle to make a special walkway for the bride.

The Radisson Penn Harris was the setting for this wedding reception. This place card table was set with our silver candelabra with votives dangling and petals of course!

Here is the bridal table done in a double tier. Lights and tulle to set the mood for a festive evening.

The Harrisburg Civic Club on Front Street in Harrisburg was the setting for this ceremony and reception. These centerpieces were filled with all shades of daisies, mums and purple lizzy.

This buffet arrangement was placed in front of the beautiful fireplace.

We placed filled cones with petals on the end of each seat so the guest could toss them after the ceremony.

Yellow button mums, orange daliahs and purple lizzy fill this brides bouquet.

Hot pink roses and white mini callas accent this bridal bouquet.

Red gerbera daisies, red roses and white spray roses. Stems wrapped in ivory band.

Red roses, white mini callas, stephanotis with red crystals, lime green button berries and loops of greens are all wrapped with white ribbon and criss crossed with red.

A 4th of July Wedding at Peter Allen House

This was a 4th of July wedding at the Peter Allen House in Dauphin. The day was warm and sunny and there didn't seem to be a cloud in the sky. Thank you to Wiebner Photography for making our flowers look so beautiful.

The flower girl wore a simple halo of all babies breath. The groom wore a double lizzianthus.

The bride carried a bouquet of babies breath, lizzianthus, stock and bear grass dangles.

We trimmed the Peter Allen's Arch with curly willow, wysteria vine and white stock.

The centerpieces were in square vases with babies breath, lizzianthus and stock. Simple and sylish.

We had a beautiful weekend a few weeks back at Felicita in Harrisburg. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the pond and gardens. The wedding took place just in front of this fabulous scene.

We made balls that we made were done in all yellow gerbera daisies. We potted them so that they could hang at the end of the aisle.

The bridal table was trimmed in a vase of all blue hydrangea. A perfect choice for this time of year. The blue was so vibrant and the size of each one was gigantic.

The bridal chairs were trimmed with yellow gerbera and blue hydrangea.

This is the ballroom at Felicita. The walls are all glass overlooking the lush grounds.

We used our square vases and filled them with blue hydrangea and bright yellow gerbera daisies on half of the tables and the other half were floating yellow gerbera.

We had a beautiful day this past Saturday at the Peter Allen House! The Fourth of July could not have been better! We decorated the arch with curly willow, wisteria vine and white stock. The aisle was accented with queens anne's lace . The setting was beautiful overlooking the mountains. Just perfect! At the tent entrance we made two tall vases filled with limes, curly willow and lime green fugis.

The centerpieces were square vases with curly willow inside, white stock, snapdragons, lisianthus, babies breath and loops of bear grass. Simple and fresh they were the perfect setting.

We had a great weekend for weddings this Saturday! The weather was perfect and the sun was shining. Here are some pictures from the Colonial Country Club! It was a windy day but very beautiful. We trimmed the awning with tulle, flowers and boston ferns. We pinned down the runner and placed bows on each end of the chairs. The Place Card Table was a tall square vase filled with limes and clear gems. The top was filled with white and purple fugi mums. The centerpieces were sliced limes with fugi mums. The bridal table was trimmed with tulle and white lights.

Weddings June 20, 2009

Even though we were dodging the rain it was a busy weekend with weddings at Pealer's! The morning started out with a downpour that never seemed to end but we managed to have a few great minutes to capture some pictures. Here we are a Lauxmont Farms in Wrightsville-the sky was overcast but we were able to get the wedding set up with out getting soaked by the rain. The view was great-especially when the sun came out! We trimmed the arch with beautiful yellow lilies, gerbera daisies, white hydrangea and lush greens. The chairs were done to cordinate with the arch trim.

Here is a close up of the yellow and white flowers. Lilies, gerbera daisies and hydrangea are surrounded by lush greens.

The unity candle was trimmed to cordinate with the other flowers. Yellow roses were added to the mix. This wedding was held at Ski Roundtop-white roses floated in bubble bowls with lime green gems in some and purple gems in the others. Silk petals were scattered among votive candles. We did two pieces that sat on either end of the long bridal table-votives and petals were scattered to add accents.

Gaudenzia Gala

Our very own Debbie Keys was honored on Saturday June 6th at the 4th Annual Gaudenzia Gala at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center! She was given the Community Champion Award for her extraordinary support of Gaudenzia. In case you don't know what Gaudenzia is all about it is an organization dedicated to clients who are overcoming the ravages of drug and alcohol addictions. Here are a few pictures from the event. My camera couldn't capture the moment quite as well but it was a wonderful event. Congratulations Debbie! Of Course Pealer's did the centerpieces of orchids and tropical greens! They even lit up!

We are now officially in wedding season! We have spent the last several weekends setting up and snapping pictures of some fabulous wedding flowers! Here is a sneek peek at some of the most recent weddings we have done in May! This bouquet is made up of hot pink roses, yellow gerbera, orange shag gerbera, dark blue delphinium, red roses and purple lisianthus. Tiny seashells accent this vibrant bouquet! Sage green hydrangea, medium pink peonies and verigated greens make this a simple and elegant bouquet. Hot pink roses surround these classic white lilies. Simple greens from the lily stems accent the bottom. Stems wrapped in hot pink ribbon.

Hershey Country Club May 23, 2009

Place Card Table-Rectangle vase with six white upright roses nestled in clear glass gems. The fireplace mantle with trimmed with candles and vases of all different heights and size. The bridal table chairs were trimmed with greens and white roses. Each table was decorated with a different vase theme. The room looked soft and romatic.

Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey This was in the Pennsylvania Ballroom. High and low square vases filled with all white made a soft and stylish atmosphere.

Allenberry Clear glass maestro vases were filled with white lilies and lush greens. A beautiful setting! The sheer drapes were hung by Balloons and More.

We were at the Wink 104 Wedding show this year and had a fantastic time! Thank you to all of our friends who made our booth look great! Mr B Entertainment provided us with a wonderful and huge flat screen monitor to display our slideshow. Thank you again to all of the photographers and brides who have sent me pictures over the past year. We look forward to 2009 with much anticipation. Here are pictures of the bouquets that we made for the show.

It was a very rainy day on September 27th but that did not put a damper on Carolyn's wedding! The ceremony was held under the big top at the Milestone Inn in Harrisburg and then the places were set for the reception to follow. The flowers were dramtic contrasting colors of deep red and pale and bright pink. These pictures were provided by Conte Photography. See our links page to go to thier website. The flowers were deep red roses, lime green hydrangea, pale pink roses and daliahs. The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet. We set up our arch under the tent to provide a backdrop for the ceremony and trimmed the arch with cordinating flowers. The chairs were accented with bows trimmed with pink alstromeria, hypernicum berries and greens. The square centerpieces were filled to the top with soft colors of pink, lime green and deep red. What's New at Pealer's

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so at Pealer's we have created a bouquet to celebrate cancer survivors and honor those lost to the illness. This lovely bouquet is a pink vase with the ribbon symbol on the side. It is filled with all shades of pink flowers and a touch of green. With every sale we will donate $10.00 to the PA Breast Coalition. We were at the Milestone Inn several times this past summer. We were fortunate enough to have some really lovely days. This is a picture of the gazebo all trimmed up with white liles and hydrangea. White rose petals trim the sides of the aisle.

The Reception was under the tent with lots of orange lilies and river rock to compliment the Susquahanna River across the street.

This picture shows the ever popular European seating. The tulle was trimmed with pink petals. Nicole was a stunning bride! The white peonies were just fabulous! She brought me beautiful pins to accents the bridesmaids bouquets. It is amazing what small little details can add.

Winter was married in May and I am so glad I got the pictures! The stunning red roses were everwhere. The ceremony was at the Whitaker Center and the Reception was at the Four Points Sheraton.

At the Four Points Sheraton we did high and low arrangments in red. The roses and gerbera daisies were striking against the black stripe linens.

We had a great time at the Hollywood Casino in Grantville a few weeks ago. The ABC27 Bridal Show was held there on September 14th. We had lots of bouquets to show off and we met many nice brides. Here are some pictures of our booth.

Have you seen the cover of the Patriot News Wedding Syle Magizine? The bouquet of pink peonies is on the cover. Bride Amy Williams was married on June 7th in Harrisburg. We were so excited about the flowers and then to see them on the cover was an added bonus. You can see other pictures from the wedding in an earlier post.

It is always amazing to see your work in it's true element. We work so hard and have a vision in our head as to how it will look and when we get pictures that bring that vision to life you just want to scream yeah!! This wedding was on June 7th one of the hottest days we have had so far this summer. Amy and I sat down a year before the wedding and talked a great deal about what they had in mind. After many many changes and conversations the day finally came. Even though it was the hottest day the peonies were even hotter! When they came in the week of the wedding we were just floored by how beautiful they were. Amy carried a full, full bouquet of peonies, roses and spray roses. The bridesmaids carried hydrangea, peonies and roses. The pictures speak for themselves. They will just knock your socks off!!! The tent at the Milestone Inn was fantastic and the centerpieces were bursting. I am hoping to get a picture of the M we made out of flowers that went on the front door of the Milestone. Stay posted.

As I am cleaning out my computer I realize that I have pictures from weddings that I just feel I need to share with the world. These photos were from a wedding last year and I just loved all of the shots. The flowers were hot and pale pink roses to match the bridesmaids hot pink sashes. This first image is always a favorite! The wind, the expression the flowers...fabulous!!!

We are getting some pictures back from brides every day! This week we got photos from Shane Santi Photography. These are from a wedding on May 17th. The tulips were just beautiful and so was the bride and her attendants! Thank you Shane for the pictures! The bridesmaids carried pale pink tulips with the stems wrapped in black and pink to match their dresses. Don't forget the little details! The arrangements for the reception were done with simple tulips and lily grass to provide a classy and flowing look. The black vases were slender and the tulips just flowed right out of the vase. The cake topper is also the throw bouquet!

Erica carried Ivory mini callas and ivory tullips accented with crystals. The stems were braided and wrapped in Ivory. Classic and elegant!

This wedding was on May 24, 2008 at the Trindle Springs Lutheran Church. Gerbera Daisies were everywhere! The bridesmaids carried handtied bouquets filled with color.

The two flowergirls carried a garland of greens and pink spray roses.

The Bride had guest hand her a flower as she was going down the aisle and then her mom tied it all up with a bow at the end of the aisle. Orange and pink gerbera and white waxflower made up the bouquet.

The reception was at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey. The cake was done by About Weddings adorned with bright gerberas.

This wedding took place just this past weekend at the Sheraton Four Points on Union Deposit Road Harrisburg. Black linens with bright red flowers made a sophisticated look. Half of the tables were high on black vases while the other half were low in squares with black marbles.

This unity candle was trimmed with spectacular green with pink edge hydrangea, white roses and orchids. The wedding took place at Bethany Church of the Nazarene in Harrisburg. Two altar pieces were filled with hydrangea, roses and lush greens.

The reception was held at the Four Points Sheraton Harrisburg. Half of the tables were done with floating candles and orchids while the other half were done with cylinder vases filled with floating orchids. The cake was trimmed with the awesome green with pink hydrangea.

The 2008 Wedding Season is in full swing here at Pealer's Flowers. Take a look at our lastest wedding photos!

Trindle Spring Lutheran Church-Altar pieces and unity were done in all gerbera daisies. Christ candle was a satin and sheer bow trimmed with white gerberas. Pews were trimmed with white satin and azalia sheer ribbon.

Radisson Penn Harris was set with vases filled with pink spray roses, alstromerea and lush greens. Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey's Pennsylvania Ballroom was set in all blue and white. Pale blue linen was topped with blue hydrangea, white snapdragons and stock in a square vase. Bridal table was trimmed with a cordinating long and low arrangment.

Lavendar roses, lavendar daisies, white lilies and white roses make up this hand tied bouquet.

Nothing says summer like sunflowers! This bouquet is filled with sunflowers, rust colored roses, orange shag gerbera daisies and hypernicum berries make this a vibrant array of color!

Gerbera daisies in pink and white tied up with remaining fabric from the bridesmaids dresses! The brown center of the gerbera matched the brown accent on the bridesmaids dresses.

We have been working again! Here are a few more bouquets that just simply stand out in the crowd!

This year we had a wonderful time at the Wink 104 Bridal Showcase. As always, we made some fabulous bouquets to show the brides. Here are all of the items that we made, our designers really knocked themselves out with these bouquets!

Purple iris, purple lizzy fill this all purple bouquet. The handle is looped with purple wire.

Vibrant colors fill this bouquet of lavendar and red roses touched with green hydrangea and berries. All wrapped with a netted ribbon.

Orchids, orchids everywhere! This arm bouquet is all orchids with a touch of glitz!

Nothing is as simplisic and elegant as a bouquet of tulips. The stems are wrapped with pearls.

These bright orange gerbera daisies were a crowd favorite. Perfect for the bridesmaids.

Orange is a very popular pick this season. Orange roses, gerbera, purple fressia and green hypernicum berries make this an absolute eye catcher.

Sunny yellow speaks of summer fun and flair. This is filled with sunflowers, lilies, gerbera and lots of lush greens.

Lime green the bold and beautiful bouquet is filled with orchids, hydrangea and jade roses. We love to add glitz to all of our bouquet. This one is touched with beads and glitter.

Very romatic and classy. Callas, roses, hydrangea and greens make this a beautiful bouquet.

For the very traditional bride this arm bouquet is white lilies, hydrangea and lush greens.

The red rose bouquet is all red roses with a touch of greens.

This was our show stopper! Everyone loved this bouquet of orange and peach roses, lime green orchids, dark burgandy callas and hypernicum berries.

Green hydrangea, pink spray and pink roses create a classic and romantic bouquet.

All white roses wrapped with a white satin band. Classic and elegant.

Our classic bubble bowl is filled with all reds! Roses and gerbera with some greens. We added curly willow and seashells to the bottom for a finishing touch.

Our contempory square vase is filled with orange and ivory. Gerbera, roses, stock and berries. The bottom is filled with curly willow.

For the flower girl, a tin container with a ribbon tied up makes a cute basket. Ivory roses, pink sprays and whimsical grass fill this basket.

You can't even see the white basket in this adorable flower girl basket filled to the top with orange gerbera and lots of greens.

A white basket is filled with purple and green orchids. Very sweet!

The wedding was held in the Leffler Chapel at Elizabethtown College. This unity candle arrangement and pedestal arrangements were done in stargazer lilies, pale purple iris, white roses, limonium and soft greens.

The bride and her Maid of Honor smile for a picture! The bride carried white roses, stargazer lilies and purple limonium.

The bridesmaids carried stargazer lilies, pale purple iris, white mini carnations, limonium and greens. A perfect match to their periwinkle dresses.

The happy bride and groom surrounded by bubbles show off their bouquet and boutonniere. The boutonniere is made of a white rose, limonium and variegated pitt.

Bride's Sending Pictures!

We love it when Bride's send us pictures from their special day. This was a wedding in June when the peonies were in full bloom. Pina looks lovely along with her bridesmaids. This bouquet is just WOW! It is made up of pale pink peonies, lime green dendrobian orchids and stephanotis with pearls.

Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Tasting

Sunday we were at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey for a wedding tasting. This is done quarterly with the hotel and is by invitation. Couples interested in booking with the hotel get invited to this very special event. We did a centerpiece in a square vase filled with white lilies, stock, roses, green hypernicum berries, wax flower and soft greens. Also pictured is a Christmas centerpiece filled with lots of holiday greens, holly and white roses and stock. A bubble bowl is filled with floating reflexed coral roses. We also did a bridal table piece in red and white and our table is set with a vase that would be used as a place card table arrangement.

Wedding August 18, 2007

We had a great weekend here at Pealer's Flowers! We drove up to Klinglerstown and Lykins for Becky and Chris's Wedding. Here are some pictures from the wedding at Salem United Church of Christ in Klinglerstown and reception at Kevin's Place in Lykins. We did a beautiful unity candle arrangement. Becky had a Lenox candle holder so we accented it with two small arrangements on either side of the holder. We used orange lilies, deep burgundy dahlia's, deep red roses, mini callas, dendrobian orchids in white and fuchsia, curly willow and lush greens of myrtle, lemon leaf and bear grass. It was a lovely day and we couldn't have had better weather. The pictures below are of the pew trims which were hand made by the bride's family and then we filled them to coordinate with the wedding flowers. Kevin's Place is located in Lykins and it has lots of history. Since Becky and Chris were having so many guests, they had long eight foot tables grouped together. We did high candelabras on each grouping and then on either end we had low arrangements some of which were on glass ovals made by one of Becky's friends. The candelabras were filled with lots of lush greens and accented with lilies, roses and dahlia's. We used the mechanical candles in the candelabras so it would look like they were burning and never dripping and then dangled votives.

A beautiful bridal table can really make a great impression. This table seated 24 people, we trimmed it with lights and tulle to make a stunning statement.

Fruit in arrangments has become quite popular. This was a glass urn filled with sunny yellow lemons. The ring around the bottom was soft greens with yellow roses and lemons.

This was the centerpiece that went along with the urn of lemons.

Allenberry Playhouse, a simply perfect and wonderful setting.

Unity candle that was then used as a sweatheart table piece. Lovely white lilies and calla's made this a beautiful arrangement.
